In finishing operations, final quality often depends on the operator’s gesture: pressure, path, contact angle and sensitivity on the part.
When parts are not perfectly identical, and real tolerances matter more than theoretical ones, traditional automation reaches its limits.

Rigid robotic cells only work on fully standardised processes.
Manual benches, on the other hand, rely entirely on operator skill and consistency.
