Model: W216 – Automatic continuous polishing machine for cylindrical edges

The W216 is an automatic continuous polishing machine developed as a specialised solution for external edge finishing of cylindrical surfaces, in production environments where the process is well defined and requires high repeatability and throughput.

Unlike compact monoblock machines, the W216 features a separated architecture with rotary table and independent polishing units, allowing a focused and application-driven machine layout.

The machine is equipped with a continuous rotary table with 16 workpiece spindles and two polishing units, each dedicated to a different process stage (for example roughing and finishing), ensuring process stability and consistent surface quality.

Both polishing units are equipped with motorised movements, allowing:

• precise and repeatable adjustments

Keeping the two stages separate allows each operation to be optimised independently, improving final edge quality.
